Theresa Fraley - 2006 Michigan Faculty Member

Theresa Fraley has extensive experience in Democratic politics at both the state and national level. While in Washington DC, she worked for such grassroots political organizations as the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, as well as serving in high-level fundraising positions in the campaign organizations of Senators TimWirth (D-CO) and Donald Riegle (D-MI). She gained national campaign experience working for the Clinton\Gore-Democratic National Committee Victory Fund in 1992, and as the Western States Finance Director for Senator Edward Kennedy's 1994 re-election campaign.

In 1996, Ms. Fraley moved back home to Michigan where she served as the Finance Director for the Michigan Democratic Coordinated Campaign, a job that included planning and executing fundraising events with a number of prominent national Democratic candidates including President Bill Clinton and providing fundraising advice and assistance to Democratic candidates all across the state. After working as the Finance Director for Jennifer Granholm's successful campaign to become Michigan's Attorney General in 1998, she continued in the Granholm organization through her election as the Governor of Michigan in 2002 and the state-wide Gubernatorial Inaugural Celebration in 2003.
