Jamal Simmons - Guest Trainer

Jamal Simmons has more than a decade of government, non-profit, corporate and political communications experience.  He is a veteran of four presidential campaigns, most recently serving as Traveling Press Secretary for Senator Bob Graham and then General Wesley K. Clark.  

After managing media relations in 40 states for Vice President Al Gore's 2000 campaign effort, Jamal spent four weeks in West Palm Beach as a Gore spokesman during the Florida Recount. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick and as a political aide to U.S. Trade Representative and Commerce Secretary Mickey Kantor.

Simmons served as a traveling press aide to Bill Clinton on the 1992 presidential campaign.
