Personal Motivations: Recognizing the disempowered position of Black Americans and women I have witnessed and have experienced has led me to pursue a career in the public sector.

The depressed implosion of the urban core that I survived living in West Philadelphia, the indefatigable spirit of women who put their children's lives before their own to overcome domestic violence and the fierce dedication of women of color defending the rights to reproductive justice have, in part, compelled me to action.

Current Positions: I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania.

Leadership Interests: My greatest aspiration for elected office is to be the Chief Executive of the United States. Barriers that have been created by external social factors have never impeded my capacity to achieve, excel or to be significant in my lifetime.

My interest in the position is that our nation can never teach freedom, democracy, representative governance or any related ideal until we obliterate the systemic oppression inherent to the decision-making here and abroad.
