Caroline Allen - Arizona Program Director Caroline Allen was the first staff member of the Arizona Center for Progressive Leadership (CPL), joining the organization in January of 2006. As the Program Director, Caroline’s responsibilities include overseeing the coordination of all Arizona leadership training programs, building and expanding the organizations network of trainers and advisers, and developing curricula for an array of leadership trainings. She also works closely with all Fellows and Faculty members to ensure the strength and success of the Arizona Political Leaders Fellowship. Bringing to the Center for Progressive Leadership a strong background and wealth of experience in program planning and development, Caroline served in research and communications at the prestigious Institute for Public Policy and Social Research in East Lansing, Michigan prior to joining CPL. In that capacity, Caroline wrote research publications and assist in the planning and coordination of policy forums and leadership development trainings. Earlier in her career she worked in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University, where her role included marketing communications, course development and responsibility for overseeing interns. Caroline received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and went on to earn her Master’s of Public Policy and Administration, with a focus on program planning and communications, from Michigan State University in East Lansing.
