Vicki King

Vicki King brings over thirty years experience in the area of Human Resource Development.  Serving as a key member of management within The Marriott Corporation and Best Western International and as Director of Human Resources for The Greyhound Dial Corporation, she directed both employment and employee relations departments and was responsible for designing, developing and implementing a wide variety of organizational, executive and management development programs and services.

In 1987, Vicki King & Associates was established as an independent management consulting service and the list of corporate clients now includes such prestigious organizations as American Express, Marriott Corporation, INTEL, Inter-Tel, Mayo, PepsiCo, Pillsbury, Travelers Express and YUM! International; a broad spectrum of non-profit and not-for-profit agencies and associations have also benefited from the talents, skills and services she provides.

An effective interviewer, a skilled strategic planner and professional coach, as well as a stimulating facilitator, Vicki has built a national reputation by engaging her clients in challenging and rewarding experiences.

A graduate of The University of Arizona, Vicki’s credentials include certification from Myers-Briggs, SMS, Wilson Learning, Kempner-Tregoe, ODI and WMI.  In addition to her professional affiliations, Vicki is active in the Phoenix community and continues to serve in a wide variety of volunteer agencies.

As to her “political community”, Vicki describes herself as a “1960’s Goldwater Republican”; committed to (1) personal responsibility, (2) limited government involvement in personal and individual rights and (3) CHOICE!
