Andrew F. Ortiz, a native Arizonan, holds three degrees from Arizona State University (ASU), including a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (1992), a Juris Doctorate of Law (1998) and a Masters in Public Administration (1999).
Ortiz, a National Fellow with the Center for the Study of the Presidency in Washington, D.C., is a leader in the nonprofit sector. Ortiz was a Leadership Facilitator for LeaderShape and a Founder and Senior Partner with the American Student Government Association and the SG Consulting Group. Andrew is a member of the National Council of La Raza, the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, and is a member of the Theodore Roosevelt Association.
In 2004, Andrew was inducted into the Arizona State University College of Public Programs Hall of Fame, and in 2005, was selected to receive the Arizona State University Young Alumni Achievement Award. In 2005, Andrew was elected as the President of the Congressional Award Alumni Association and received the “Professional of the Year” Award from the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO). In 2005, Andrew was the “Volunteer of the Year” with the Valley of the Sun United Way, and one of Association Trends Magazine’s “Young and Aspiring Association Professionals.” In 2006, Ortiz was selected as a Semi-Finalist for the United States Jaycees “Ten Outstanding Young Americans”, as one of the top 20 young leaders in the United States. Andrew is the President & CEO of Ortiz Leadership Systems, LLC.
