Fellowship Track: Non-Profit Organization Leadership.
Motivation: As I began to educate myself, I formed some strong opinions and became quite passionate about certain issues. After volunteering on both the east and west coasts, along with gaining momentum as a political organizer and activist, I began to realize that even though I am only one person, my individual participation along with many others could and will eventually facilitate change.
Volunteer Highlights: Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona – Public Affairs and Development Departments at Arizona State University Feminist Organization.
Leadership Interests:Development of leadership skills for eventually leading a non-profit organization that educates youth in the importance of civic participation and helps them to understand the democratic process and the importance of being involved in it. Kids Voting USA is a perfect example.
