Profession: Public Relations & Marketing

Personal Values: It is the obligation of every human being to help others in need.  I was raised in an incredible family and learned to appreciate what I have been blessed with.  I realized quickly that non-profit organizations are more than the wishes they can grant or the children they take care of after school.  They are businesses that take an incredible amount of resources to stay open.  That’s why it’s so important to get behind the causes you believe in, and to influence others to become as passionate as you are to support them.

Volunteer Highlights: Auxiliary Board Member, Arizona Foundation for Women; Heart Ball Committee Member, American Heart Association; Sojourner Center - Capital Campaign Committee

Leadership Interests: I am interested in working as a fundraising consultant for non-profit organizations, assisting them in incorporating the creative process into their fund development efforts and plans to achieve their financial goals in this area.  I am also interested in doing this to strengthen the Democratic Party.

CPL-AZ Mentor: Marie Sullivan; Executive Director of the Arizona Women’s Education & Employment.
