Phoenix

Profession: Rio Salado College Project Coordinator

Fellowship Track:  Non-Profit Organization Leadership

Motivation: What first started as passive activism, making monetary donations and writing members of Congress, has matured into a growing desire to be an instrumental player in creating change.  For progressives to reclaim political discourse, the diversity that often divides us can be used as the common thread to weave a powerful message.  Diverse progressive opinions can create a rich, complex dialogue moving us forward.  By working together, we can take America back!

Volunteer Highlights:  Secretary, Networking Employment & Training; Professional Association (NETPA); Community Involvement Chair, Business and
Professional Women Organization (BPW); Legislative Committee, AZ Coalition Against Domestic Violence; Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona; Rock Bottom Foundation Miracle in the Desert

Leadership Interests: I am interested in being the Director of Government Relations for a non-profit organization, and working in grassroots organizing and youth mobilization.

CPL-AZ Mentor: Roselyn O’Connell; President, My Campaign Advisor; Past Chair of the National Women’s Political Caucus
