Profession:  General Manager, Dilly’s Deli-Tempe

Fellowship Track:  Future Candidate

Motivation: The desire for money, power and self-preservation is ruining our representative form of government and eroding the vision our Founding Fathers bestowed upon us as they constructed the Constitution.  The selfishness amongst our current leaders has created a growing divide between the haves and have-nots, the rich and the poor, the strong and the less fortunate.  I firmly believe that this divide must be bridged.  If all citizens of all backgrounds can trust that they will be fairly represented by their leaders, the gaps in our society can be filled.  I would like to work towards building a unified society in which everyone is given an equal opportunity to find freedom and achieve happiness.

Leadership Interests: My primary objective in beginning my career as a public servant is to start at the grassroots level, pushing the progressive agenda door-to-door and fighting for candidates who champion progressive causes.  I feel it is important for me to get my feet wet first, working for and learning from others before I run for an elected office in the future.  I feel that my experiences from working at a local level will better prepare me for an elected leadership position.
