Fellowship Track:  Future Candidate

Motivation:  I am a first generation American, raised by immigrant parents.  My parents came to this country because they wanted their children raised with the opportunities only this country has to offer.  Now, as I get older I see the great progressive legacy being threatened.  The government has been asleep at the wheel, and the ship has drifted off course.  It is time for young progressive people to storm the ship and steer this great country back on track before it is too late.

Leadership Interests: I intend to run for a seat in the State House of Representatives.  There, I intend to put forward an agenda of progressive values that favor all people…put a priority on education before tax breaks, affordable housing before corporate welfare, and invest in social programs that are meant to raise up the poor and disenfranchised.
