Personal Values: The 2000 election of George W Bush opened the door to an earlier introspection that I had taken of myself. It caused me to stand up, and to speak out. To aid and assist others who may not yet have a voice. It gave me motivation to realize that one person can make a difference. That person is me.

Current Positions: My unique position of being a very diverse, eclectic, free thinking individual brings a cross section of organizations that include memberships to: NOW, the UAW, ACLU, YMCA, ABATE, UICA, Michigan Democratic party, the Kent County Democratic Party and the Grand Rapids Track Club.

Leadership Interests: I would like to be in a position where I have a platform that promotes gender and racial equality, justice and universal health care for all.
