Personal Values: My parents are both very involved in their communities and have motivated me to be active in mine. uture progressive leaders need to better understand finance and fundraising, how to nurture relationships that may help their political causes, if we are to contend with the better organized and funded conservative movement. We must have a clear understanding of the political issues of the day, in addition to laying the foundation for long term political needs.

Current Positions: I work for the Michigan Democratic Senate Caucus.

Leadership Interests: While I may eventually seek elected office, it is a penultimate aspiration. Ultimately, I envision my role in the progressive movement as primarily a behind-the-scene coalition builder, networker, and organizer.
