Pennsylvania New Leaders Program
For recent graduates and young people seeking full time work

 

CPL Pennsylvania's New Leaders Program identifies and recruits talented, diverse youth and links them to paid positions at leading progressive organizations from June to November. CPL also provides intensive leadership and skills training, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities over the course of the program.

 

As a New Leaders Fellow, you will travel from Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C. from June 2nd to the 6th for a one-week leadership training with the other 2008 New Leaders Fellows from around the country.

 

After the one-week program, you'll return to Pennsylvania to begin your 6-month placement. Over the course of the program, you'll engage in:

  • Leadership trainings and workshops
  • Small group leadership coaching
  • Mentorship and networking with progressive leaders in the state
  • Meeting and working with New Leaders Fellows in other states

Pennsylvania New Leaders Internship Program in D.C.

CPL's New Leaders Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship program in Washington, DC available for students and young leaders in Pennsylvania and across the country. The internship will take place from June 6 – August 15, 2008.
