Springboards
The Center for Progressive Leadership is looking
for highly motivated leaders from a variety of
backgrounds throughout Pennsylvania who are dedicated
to reshaping politics in their communities, our
commonwealth, and the nation.
Jump-start the process of developing the core tools and meeting the progressive leaders you need to expand your political
leadership horizons in CPL's Springboards this summer. Through a combination of
lectures, group activities, and simulations you
will learn the fundamentals of:
- Delivering an effective message
- Working with the media
- Grassroots and Grasstops Fundraising
- Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers
- Strategic Campaign Management
Springboard Guests and Trainers
Past Pennsylvania Springboard Guests include former Congressman Joe Hoeffel, Councilman Michael Nutter, Congressman Bill Peduto, State Representatives Josh Shapiro, Mike Gerber, Dan Frankel and Daylin Leach, as well as Betsy Magley, Khari Mosley, Gloria Forouzan, Larry Ceisler, Brian Selander and Renee Gillinger.
