CPL Pennsylvania is dedicated to developing our state’s next generation of progressive political leaders. As CPL’s flagship state, Pennsylvania has become a model for effectively recruiting and developing emerging political leaders over the long term.

2009 Political Leaders Fellowship

The Pennsylvania Political Leaders Fellowship is a 9-month, part-time program that focuses on providing the long-term resources and skills necessary for emerging leaders to become powerful political advocates for their communities.

2009 New Leaders Program

CPL’s Pennsylvania New Leaders Program connects talented and diverse youth to full-time jobs to leading progressive organizations in the state and over the course of 6 months, provides training, mentorship, coaching, and networking to help jump start life-long careers in progressive politics.

About CPL Pennsylvania

Since launching our Pennsylvania efforts in 2004, CPL has trained over 1000 emerging Pennsylvania political activists, organization leaders, and future candidates from every corner of the state.

CPL Pennsylvania continues to expand our palate of statewide and localized political leadership development programs all aimed at providing individuals with the skills, resources, and relationships needed to become effective political leaders.

If you'd like to get involved, get in touch with Haile Johnston, Pennsylvania's State Director and you can find out more about getting involved with CPL in Pennsylvania.
