Thank you for hosting a YouthTrain!
Below are all the steps you need to host a YouthTrain on your campus or in your community.

Goal: Complete by March 15th
The first thing you need to do to host a YouthTrain is find a space to host the event...it should be able to accomodate 10 to 25 people (or more if you're going to host a big one!).
The space should also have the ability to show a live webcast and video in a big enough way that everyone can see it and hear. This means having a room with a projector and internet connection...the evening will start with a 25 minute training video feature young organizers all over the country...in order to play it...you'll need:
- A laptop that can plug into a projector
- We'll send you a link to download the 100 mb video (in either Quicktime or Windows Media Player format)
For the live webcast of the panel discussion happning in Washington DC on the night of the 28th that you're going to participate in, you'll also need a projector but also:
- A T1 or broadband internet connection in the room
- And it should be an ethernet cable (not wireless!) that you can plug into the projector or laptop
Most importantly, make sure you reserve the space and the projector equipment you'll need! Some potential options for spaces include classrooms, student centers, or conference rooms. Once you have found a space, make sure you reserve it...and then proceed to Step Two!
