Are you fighting for a living wage on your campus, trying to stop tuition raises, raising awareness about climate change in your neighborhood? Whatever your issue...we all need volunteers to help fuel our efforts.
On March 28th, campuses and young organizers across the country joined together for a nation-wide training on how to recruit young volunteers and keep them involved in issues and campaigns.
YouthTrain used a combination of a training video, live event with national youth leaders, and a skills practice session in each event. You can host your own YouthTrain and we'll give you everything you need to run the training in your community or on your campus.
If you missed YouthTrain, check back here soon to find out how you can still host your own YouthTrain in the future. We'll be making the entire training available for download so that young people can continue to train and educate organizers and volunteers in their communities.
YouthTrain wa organized by leading progressive youth groups, including Campus Climate Challenge, Young People For, Campus Camp Wellstone, Gender PAC, Campus Progress, and more.
